Who REALLY sang the verison of Son of A Preacher Man on the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack?

I know that the liner notes say Dusty Springfield and there are dozens of references crediting her on the web. However, when I google Etta James Son of A Preacher Man I get just as many references for James attributing the Pulp Fiction version to her and have an Etta James album with the same version.|||The track listing does say Dusty Springfield so i'd go with that. If it was anybody else then there would have been court cases or at least a mention of it before now.|||Dusty Springfield. Personally I like the Bobby Gentry version better|||It was Dusty Springfield. The recordings sound a lot alike.|||Dusty Springfeild,The White Lady of Soul does the version in the film
