I have the enV Touch (VX11000) and i am having trouble finding a program that will work. Just looking for some help with this. I have tried making an MP3 of a song segment but i will not save as a ring tone.|||i use this FREE site all the time

Basically, the way you described it, this would give you exactly what you've been trying to do on your own, only about sixty times easier. I use myxer all the time and now I have a Van Halen ring tone and an Aerosmith ring tone.
Or, if you already have the file cut to size, etc, just go to one of several online converters and change it to a .midi file. That's the typical ring tone format. After that just resend it to your phone and it should show up as a ring tone.
