I have tried unchecking box of enable updates and still doesnt want to go back to classic verison?

Even if I click on the link of go back to yahoo mail classic, it still doesnt work.|||The new 'Regular Mail' still does not work well with some computers. (The version formerly called 'All-New has disappeared.) Yahoo wants everyone to switch to the newest version, so has disabled any links to change back. Switching to Classic Mail by temporarily lowering the screen resolution until you are asked to switch, or temporarily disabling Javascript also only works for some users.

The easiest way to switch back to Yahoo Classic is to use one of the following links each time you open your mail - save the Bookmark as a Favorite.

http://mrd.mail.yahoo.com/switchclassic (might be a permanent change)

http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/welcom鈥?/a>

http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch (This link is faster.)

In the small print there should be a choice near the bottom to make the change permanent.

If all else fails, try contacting Yahoo! Customer Service, but you will need to be persistent to talk to a human, and must 'insist' on switching versions, even if they sat at first that it cannot be done.

USA (6am to 6 pm, Pacific Standard Time)

The change back to Classic also can be done with a small (temporary) change. Either disable Javascript or lower the screen resolution. Log out of your account before trying these, then log in afterwards. Once you have switched back to Classic Mail, re-boot and change these settings back again.

1. For Internet Explorer, go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Security %26gt; Custom level. In the scripting section, disable active scripting.

For Firefox and Chrome, go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Content and un-check Enable JavaScript.

This solution is not successful with all versions of Windows 7.

2. Lower the screen resolution one stage at a time in the Control Panel %26gt; Personalization %26gt; Display section. (Normally it is 1024 x 768 or higher).Once it is too low, when you open Mail you are asked to switch to Mail Classic %26gt; click Yes. There will be some waiting, flashing, and scrolling, but the screen shows up eventually.
