Is there any way i can use any Iphone on the verison network?

I cant afford any of the plans so im trying to get a pay-as-you-go phone and i recently got the iphone 2g 16gb for xmas from my girlfriend. Can i use it for any other network besides AT%26amp;T like trac fone or others? Even if i get it jailbroken?|||Even if you jailbreak it it won't work on Tracfone. Tracfone will only activate tracfone phones on their service.|||No you can't when you buy the phone they ask if u hav an AT%26amp;T account If not the phone will not work
